Today’s creative thing was scanning images into my computer so I can add them to my mother’s memoirs. Here’s a preview!
This has been a fun project. Except for Wednesday when I couldn’t get the scanner to work. Mike fixed it and today I could get the pictures into digital form so I can insert them into the memoirs of my mother’s life growing up in Seattle. She’s written an epilogue to the book.
This is a picture of a campsite at Lake Merritt. Every summer my mother’s family would back pack into the mountains for two weeks of fishing. This is apparently before Grandma made the canvas tent on her treadle sewing machine! Talk about roughing it!
